Chula Vista Resort has selected Trademark Collection by Wyndham as its new operating brand.

On September 30, 2019 Wyndham Hotels and Resorts completed a new franchise agreement with the long-time independent hotel, located at 1000 Chula Vista Parkway in Wisconsin Dells.

“We are excited about the power of the world’s largest hotel group, with over 9,000 hotels, motels, and resorts, which gives us access to the 77,000,000 loyalty travelers of Wyndham Rewards, and their world-wide group and event sales team. The strong brand awareness and quality that Wyndham Hotels are known for is a major contributing factor in our decision,” says Kaminski.

“Our journey took us through all of the major brands, and almost three years to align ourselves with the proper group and brand. The Trademark Collection by Wyndham is the perfect fit for Chula Vista Resort as a lifestyle, three-to-four diamond position,” Kaminski adds. “We have over 70 years of operating and developing Chula Vista as an independent hotel, and we now get to flaunt this worldwide, through the Wyndham family.

Chula Vista is excited to open the new “Bennett Tower” guestrooms in 2020. Originally constructed in 1991 and additions in 1997, the newly repositioned lodging experience boasts hundreds of authentic H.H. Bennett art in both the public spaces and guestrooms. Working with the Wisconsin Historical Society, the property has been able to feature Chula Vista Resort’s robust history, H.H. Bennett’s remarkable career and the marriage of their impact in the famous Wisconsin Dells.

Mike Kaminski is the third generation of ownership and management at the resort. His son, Jeff Kaminski, is now President of the company, and daughter, Krissy Sigmund, is Vice President and Revenue Director. Jeff and Krissy are the fourth generation who now run the company’s day to day business.
