Join the local community at this free event to make memories you will cherish for years! The festival takes place in downtown Wisconsin Dells as well as at Bowman Park. You’ll be able to take in one of Wisconsin’s largest festivals as you stroll through the vendor displays while snacking on some excellent food such as alligator on a stick, or other festival favorites.
Family Friendly Activities
On Saturday, September 16 runners will participate in the 50th annual Wa-Zha-Wa Run. The race features a four-mile and half marathon option with a post-race party at Otto’s Supper Club. For the speedy participants there is a list of Wo-Zha-Wa weekend records you can try to claim. For the leisure runners, the course is challenging, but fun and you receive a pass to major Wisconsin Dells attractions when you finish along with a finishers medal and other goodie.
The weekend concludes a 100-unit parade filled with floats, performers, and live music. The festive parade begins Sunday, September 17 at 1:30 p.m. and provides a fantastic family-friendly conclusion to a great festival.
