Chula Vista Resort’s new Wisconsin Dells Center is one of the most versatile indoor athletic facilities in the Upper Midwest. It has become a Mecca for indoor youth, amateur, and collegiate sporting events, drawing activities from gymnastics meets to mixed martial arts tournaments.
The Wisconsin Dells Center sports 90,000 square feet of column-free space under one roof that can be configured to fit up to 10 basketball courts or 16 regulation volleyball courts and still have plenty of room left for pre-event activities, ticketing, retail store space, and concessions. The Center features 70-foot ceilings, a state-of-the-art sound system with available event staging and lighting, a high-volume exhaust system for motorized events, ample utility/networking connections, and no floor weight restrictions.
Chula Vista will give your athletic event a big-city feel without the metropolitan hassles and hustle. We have 640 Wisconsin Dells guest rooms available, ample on-site parking, and four restaurants serving everything from pizza to prime porterhouse steaks. And when participants want to unwind, they can do so in our mammoth indoor and outdoor waterparks, the luxurious riverside Spa Del Sol, or our pool-side cabanas.
A few recent athletic events hosted in Chula Vista’s Wisconsin Dells Center include: the 2008-10 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Women’s Volleyball National Championships; the 2008-10 Midwest Youth Football Championships; Cabela’s Dock Dogs competition; and the 2010 Xplozion Fastpitch Softball Tournament. Chula Vista Resort also hosted the prestigious 2010 Wisconsin Dells Marathon.
