CHULA VISTA RESORT MEETINGS & CONVENTIONS
AT A GLANCE

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – Thanks to an aggressive redevelopment program, Chula Vista is now a world-class property, offering Wisconsin Dells’ most complete resort experience. With its waterfront location and the mix of lodging, meeting & convention, leisure activities and amenities on site, no other resort offers this kind of experience.

Coming in 2008 – In 2008 the resort will add The Riverview Rooms on the Atrium Level to their vast array of meeting and convention space.  The new space will add approximately 20,000 square feet of beautiful facility space perfect for meetings, banquets and weddings.  Riverview North will feature a scenic patio that takes full advantage of the breathtaking scenery along the Wisconsin River.  The Riverview South Room includes the Atrium for year round enjoyment.

In 2008, Chula Vista will offer more than 200,000 square feet of meeting, convention and expo space.

New Meeting & Convention Space – In the summer of 2006, Chula Vista added 25,500 square feet (and two floors) of high-end meeting space.  The new area allows the resort to cater to groups of up to 2,000 attendees and brings the total area available to 80,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.  The resort can also house a 450-booth trade show.  Two large ballrooms overlook the Wisconsin River, making location and ambiance spectacular.  Chula Vista currently hosts about 600 meetings a year, and that number is expected to grow.

New Sports Events Space – Chula Vista Resort is creating a 160,000 square foot sports facility catering to regional sports events and tournaments as well as large conventions and trade shows. The $30 million project opened the first phase of the project, an 80,000 square foot dome, in June 2007.  The second phase, another 80,000-square-foot facility, is in planning for 2009 or 2010.

Upscale Restaurant – Kaminski Bros. Chop House, on the upper floor of the new meeting expansion area, offers great views overlooking the river.  This destination steakhouse features bone-in steaks dry-aged for 14 days as well as a wine list of nearly 300 selections.

Redesigned Cold Water Canyon Golf Course – The golf course underwent a $2 million major redesign, making it a more challenging course. The “original” nine holes of the course were kept “as is” to maintain the scenic nature of this historically significant course.  The back nine holes were redeveloped, with changed fairways, added moguls and water hazards. The work was done to resemble some of Wisconsin’s well-known championship courses. While Cold Water Canyon is a shorter course, its improvements will prove inviting for golfers who will enjoy playing this historic venue. The course also serves a backdrop for the new entrance boulevard that leads from Highway 13 to Chula Vista.
