Chula Vista Resort is one of the largest indoor waterpark resorts in Wisconsin and is situated on hundreds of wooded acres along the Wisconsin River.  It is one of the premier meeting and event destinations in the Midwest and has undergone a major renovation and expansion.  Chula Vista Resort now boasts 220 new, upscale condominiums; a new 80,000 square-foot indoor waterpark, Lost Rios; a new high-end restaurant, Kaminski Bros. Chop House; and the historic Coldwater Canyon Golf Course, which was recently and dramatically redesigned.

Owned by the Kaminski family for more than 55 years, Chula Vista Resort has always been known for superior hospitality, customer service and fabulous food.  Mike Kaminski assumed leadership responsibilities from his father in the early 1980s.

Kaminski’s professional background includes extensive experience in tourism, including a 15-year association with the Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau, where he served as president for four years and oversaw a $7 million annual budget.

Kaminski’s involvement with World Waterpark Association has made him an industry expert, who speaks on a myriad of waterpark-related topics.  He also served on the Wisconsin Innkeepers Board of Directors and continues to be active in the organization.

The Kaminski family recently opened its first franchise property, AmericInn Lodge & Suites, in Wisconsin Dells and established the CVR Management Co. of Wisconsin Dells.

Kaminski holds degrees in accounting, jazz music composition and culinary arts.
