Meeting Facilities:

Since 2006, Chula Vista added 25,500 square feet of high-end meeting space. The new area allows the resort to cater to groups of up to 2,000 attendees and brings the total area available to 80,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.  The resort can also house a 450-booth trade show.

Chula Vista unveiled an 80,000 square-foot sports facility in June 2007.  The new sports facility – the Wisconsin Dells Center –attracts a variety of large sports events and tournaments and all kinds of conventions and expositions.

Indoor Waterparks:

Lost Rios, Chula Vista’s 80,000 square-foot indoor waterpark, opened in July 2006. The new waterpark features Jungle Adventure Bowl Ride, three rides in one with lights and sound, Fly’n Mayan Water Coaster, the world’s longest and fastest indoor water coaster, 1.5 miles of waterslides and more than 200,000 square feet of waterparks. Lost Rios includes 13 large water slides, raft rides, body slides, tube slides, mat slides and bowl rides. The area also has an interactive adventurous floating river, Mount Montezuma Rainforest & Tipping Bucket; water play structure with slides, climbing nets and spray features as well as a 500-gallon tipping bucket. The new waterpark features multiple indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi whirlpools, water walks, water basketball, kiddie activity pools & waterslides, wading pools and playgrounds.  Lost Rios also offers several snack bars as well as lockers and changing areas.

Outdoor Waterpark:

Adventure Lagoon is a three-acre outdoor water area featuring a 350-foot waterslide, nine large waterslides, kiddie waterslides, outdoor hot tub and a large children’s activity pool that includes water geysers, spraying cactuses, floating water animals, water basketball and a mini golf course. Visit the New Wave Lagoon Outdoor wave pool and Cactus Cove Outdoor Treehouse.

New in summer 2008: The Cyclone, a vortex-style waterslide, with quick turns and rapid acceleration. Riders plummet through darkened tubes reaching speeds that will make their hearts pound!

Guests can also enjoy our family-sized “Chubanas,” private poolside cabanas, with fully stocked refrigerators and comfortable interiors.

Spa:

Chula Vista’s Spa del Sol has nine professional treatment salons and offers services including manicures, pedicures, tanning, full-body treatments, facials, various massage therapies, including deep-tissue, and hydro-therapy.

Golf Course:

The redesigned $2 million Coldwater Canyon Golf Course combines a historic front nine that plays through woods and river canyons and a links-style back nine marked by bunkers, moguls and water hazards.  The course features elevated tee boxes throughout, and boasts a Northwoods-style clubhouse with a restaurant and a full PGA-certified instructional facility/driving range.
