How does Chula Vista Resort handle debit card charges?

When you use a debit card at Chula Vista Resort, charges are processed immediately and refunds may take 5–7 business days to be released by your bank, with the resort not responsible for loss of access to funds or any overdraft fees.

How do I remit payment to Chula Vista Resort, and can I pay by personal check?

Personal checks to Chula Vista Resort must be received at least 3 weeks before arrival and must include your reservation number and arrival date, with a pre-printed name, address, and account number; no personal checks are accepted upon arrival, and no post‑dated or two‑party checks are allowed. All advance payments by check should be mailed to CHULA VISTA RESORT, PO BOX 30, Wisconsin Dells, WI 53965, and purchase orders must be received 10 days prior to arrival, with accounts due 15 days after departure.

Does Chula Vista Resort offer grilling facilities?

Chula Vista Resort offers outdoor gas grills with utensils in the Grilling Pavilion in front of the Rio Condo Building on a first‑come, first‑served basis, with guests asked to clean up after use and contact Guest Services at 608-708-6591 for assistance. Charcoal grilling and grilling in any other areas of the property are not allowed due to local city ordinance.

Does Chula Vista Resort offer wireless internet?

Chula Vista Resort provides wireless internet throughout the resort.

Are Pets Allowed?

Yes – Dogs only

· Max of 2 dogs per reservation, 50 lb weight limit per dog

· $40 per dog, per night

· Must be crated when unattended

What are the check-in and check-out times at Chula Vista Resort?

Check‑in at Chula Vista Resort is any time after 4 p.m., and check‑out is before 10:30 a.m.

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard Reservations:

· Cancel prior to 72 hours of your check-in date with a $30 cancellation fee

· Cancel within 72 hours of your check-in date with a full forfeit of the first night’s stay


Non-Refundable Reservations:

· No cancellations or changes allowed

Check-in & Check-out

· Check-in time begins at 4pm. Waterpark access starts as early as 12:00pm with pre-registration

· Check-out time is at 10:30am. Guests may continue using amenities for the day

Can someone who is not staying at Chula Vista Resort pay for my reservation?
Yes, Chula Vista Resort accepts reservations paid by non-guests, but anyone paying on your behalf must complete and submit the resort’s Online Credit Card Authorization Form.
Do you sell day passes?
No. We are strictly guest exclusive. To use the waterpark, you must stay at the resort
